Monday? More like Mondaze. Most of these days I wake up feeling sluggish, and I’m ready to go back to bed. However, Mondays are like the breakfast of the week. If you start out without it, the rest of your day could be out of whack (Secret: I don’t usually eat breakfast… But you catch my drift.) I’ve learned the key to conquering Mondays is to be motivated. Find something to get you through the day, and be happy about it. It’s easier said than done, but I found that trying and putting forth the effort is better than not trying at all.

Do you ever look at strangers and ponder on the fact that everyone is so busy living their own little lives? I do this sometimes, sat in the car, watching people as the world whizzes by outside. I might see someone carrying their shopping home. But what’s home to them? Is it a nice cozy house with a lovely family to go back to, or are they going home to a stressed and strained relationship? Or are they homeless?

Earlier today I was working out on the treadmill. Nothing hardcore, just a fast walk (I hate running). About 15 min. in I started feeling tired and thinking that I was just gonna go another 5 minutes and go back to lifting weights. I kept thinking about how tired I was. Then a song that gets me pumped came on, and that flipped my switch. I had a burst of energy, did 3 different sprinting times, and stayed on for a full 40 min.

There are moments in life where you can really feel defeated. When it feels like you were knocked down and can’t seem to catch a break, it is a terrible feeling and you can feel really helpless. Sometimes the number million can be either nothing or something that could possibly change one’s life. It sometimes can take years of effort, perhaps decades believe it or not to get there. Or it can even take one simple move that would lead to one giant leap.
How does one get there, though? It’s by not giving up. When you don’t give up and keep going, something WILL happen one day. It may not be tomorrow or not even next year but sometime, someday, you WILL get there.
Ever wondered how some people’s blogs have gotten so popular? They didn’t give up. They just kept going for what they were passionate about. Now it has led to them realizing how awesome it was to keep going.
And the best part is going through the tough yet fun process towards getting there.
You might be thinking as well for how the CEO of The Millionaire’s Digest reached 5,000 followers on WordPress when this post was written. That because he did the same thing as others. Not giving up.
Even the most famous bloggers out there had to go through the process of failing and not giving up. All giving up does mean that you’ve quit. Does that mean you can’t give it a second or perhaps multiple shots and chances? You still can!
Just keep going and someday, somewhere, and some how things will fall into place.

1. “Everything in life is easier when you don’t concern yourself with what everybody else is doing.”
There’s this saying that also says, ‘Comparison is the thief of joy’ and I feel like it’s a little bit of an extension of the above quote as well. When we concern ourselves too much on what everyone else is doing and keep on comparing, it makes everything in life harder because we end up putting too much pressure on ourselves. We end up making unreasonable expectations for ourselves that we’ll struggle to achieve and that in turn will just make us miserable and burnt out.

It is an innate feeling to appreciate what is around us. It is gradual to see your vision, your reality taking place and notice these little details every day. It’s like coming out of a bubble of revolving negative thoughts, overanalysis to see your world as it is. And this is where it’s YOUR turn to observe, listen and appreciate. Sometimes it can be a job offered to your sister, the beauty of the sky after a violent storm, a good chat with your best friend, a compliment from someone. Small, simple events which make us feel alive, happy and part of the steps to have a good day. When you do notice all these little details, you do realize what is appreciation.

Mel Robbins wears many hats and also holds many posts (Commentator, TV host, & a coach among other thing), beside all her great achievements she has set the bar very high for herself with a very exceptional goal; to exceed ‘Rush Limbaugh’ in the number of stations that she aims to be working for. (Touch the wood)!
