We talk about being inspirational in life. The first step in inspiring people is for you to let go of your own baggage. The baggage is the people who make your life toxic. The catch is: what if that person is a parent? I have a great friend. She is 45. She still struggles with the legging go part with her mom. My friend shares to much, in my opinion. Why? She knows her mom is judgmental.

Dating after the damage of sheer and almost unbearable heartbreak.

We all know the type of person- much like a tornado that falls from the bluest of skies and unsuspectingly sucks you in, only to spit you out broken and emotionally battered and bruised. Hell, until eight years ago, when I met my karmic payback, I WAS the metaphorical tornado. So, of all people, I understand that this type of person preys on the unsuspecting. Of course, I didn’t prey on the weaker links, I am just afflicted with whatever causes extreme boredom, and then nausea. Either way, when I felt the devastation I had been unintentionally doling out, one thing is for sure- a dose of my own medicine is a bitter pill to swallow. But why confess my evil doings? Because it deems me the consummate authority on this topic. Continue reading Metaphorical Shelter From The Hypothetical Storm (6 min read)

Almighty god does not decide our fate. We decide our own fate by our actions. We achieve  by our efforts alone. It is not a matter of sitting back and accepting, you have to gain mastery over yourself.

Floods, earthquakes, typhoons and all kind of disasters may hit the world. But what keeps the human race going? It is a powerful force within us, an eternal spring of energy called motivation. It was Lord Buddha’s motivation that drove him to give up his princely life in search of nirvana and give the world a new religion.

At an individual level, it is positive motivation that elevates us from the ordinary to the extraordinary. If there is only a 1% chance of success in an examination, a true scholar sees that 1% as the spark to light a fire. The spark for creative ideas comes from hard work and positive thinking. ” when others start counting the impossibilities, you start counting the possibilities.”
Count differently : confirm the possibilities, and then quickly work on whatever can turn those possibilies into reality.

What inspires YOU to work harder ? What is your internal motivation ?
Share your motivation in the comment box !  🙂

The 80-20 rule can be applied to every aspect of your life, yet it is widely forgotten by many. This is an old principle which says that from 20% of the causes you get 80% of the results. For example, you wear 20% of your clothes 80% of your time, you go out 80% of your time with 20% of your friends, you get 80% of income from 20% of the income generating sources.
