Almighty god does not decide our fate. We decide our own fate by our actions. We achieve  by our efforts alone. It is not a matter of sitting back and accepting, you have to gain mastery over yourself.

Floods, earthquakes, typhoons and all kind of disasters may hit the world. But what keeps the human race going? It is a powerful force within us, an eternal spring of energy called motivation. It was Lord Buddha’s motivation that drove him to give up his princely life in search of nirvana and give the world a new religion.

At an individual level, it is positive motivation that elevates us from the ordinary to the extraordinary. If there is only a 1% chance of success in an examination, a true scholar sees that 1% as the spark to light a fire. The spark for creative ideas comes from hard work and positive thinking. ” when others start counting the impossibilities, you start counting the possibilities.”
Count differently : confirm the possibilities, and then quickly work on whatever can turn those possibilies into reality.

What inspires YOU to work harder ? What is your internal motivation ?
Share your motivation in the comment box !  🙂

1. “I have advice for people who want to write. I don’t care whether they’re 5 or 500. There are three things that are important: First, if you want to write, you need to keep an honest, unpublishable journal that nobody reads, nobody but you. Where you just put down what you think about life, what you think about things, what you think is fair and what you think is unfair. And second, you need to read. You can’t be a writer if you’re not a reader. It’s the great writers who teach us how to write. The third thing is to write. Just write a little bit every day. Even if it’s for only half an hour — write, write, write.” ― Madeleine L’Engle Continue reading 23 Tips from Famous Writers for New and Emerging Authors (5 min read)

A writer’s style is a reflection of his or her personality, unique voice, and way of approaching the audience and readers. However, every piece writers write is for a specific purpose—for example, writers may want to explain how something works or persuade people to agree with their point of view. While there are as many writer’s styles as there are writers, there are only four general purposes that lead someone to write a piece, and these are known as the four styles, or types, of writing. Knowing all four different types and their usages is important for any writer. Continue reading Four Different Types of Writing Styles (6 min read)

Seeing the title, most of you would guess it’s about death.

Well it’s not, for once.

When I was a young chap, going down the streets of my parent’s flat felt like ages. It was a maze of tall, similar buildings with the smell of cements, wet paint, and foliage by the side.Everyday was an adventure, going from blocks to blocks, finding hideouts and shortcuts for whatever I may find threatening. (Such as : massive dogs, strangers) Continue reading Our Inevitable Doom (1 min read)

“There are plagiarists everywhere and if I share my idea publicly before it’s legally protected then they’re going to steal it from me! Curse those wretched plagiarists!”

There’s a common misconception among new aspiring writers (and other creators) which has baffled me for some time now. Continue reading Your Creativity Is There To Be Shared (4 min read)
