If you’ve noticed these days that being a photographer is hard work, you’re not the only one. These days you’re not just a photographer, you also have to be a social media expert, you need to find effective and smart ways of getting your work seen (so technically you need to be an experienced PR) you need to be commerce savvy if you want to make it a source of income and worst of all, the competition to get noticed is ridiculously high which means there’s a lot of hard work involved in achieving all of the above.

Happiness is a Mindset!?

Not a day goes by

I can’t help but wonder why

is happiness a full-time job?

Happiness is forgiving you and forgiving others. Happiness is wanting to spend time with others while sharing a true sense of caring, loving and nurturing. Happiness is a full-time job!

 Compare happiness to a song

not succinct, but long and strong

Happiness is the spark that makes you want to shine and have others shine with you, like a contagious smile. Happiness is a full-time job!

Thoughts are interwoven pitches and tones

Voices are melodic lines strategically honed

Actions are moments of what is to be

Happiness is keeping hope and making peace an everyday goal – not just a hollow thought but a state of feeling, an emotion. Happiness is a full-time job!

  Elements of surprise

 We can only surmise

 in three-part harmony

Happiness is as strong as it is long and energizes your sense of purpose. Complacency and idleness are woebegone – extinguished amidst the chaos.  Their use in time no longer exists.

  Not a day goes by

I can’t help but wonder why

is happiness a full-time job?

Happiness is time without a clock. Perhaps Father time has lost his way and that’s okay. Why? Because happiness is not a full-time job. There’s no time clock! Happiness is the quality or state of being happy whenever wherever and as long as you want.

And happiness can be a mindset! So, what is a mindset? A mindset is defined as an attitude, disposition, or mood. You have an option as to how you set your mindset.  Why not set it to happiness.

  Compare happiness to a song

not succinct, but long and strong

Life’s journey is what matters, and it’s your song to write. Let the lyrics flow like a river with no boundaries and no end. Long, strong and meaningful. Make sure to remember where and when you stand in the river because that moment in time will never repeat itself. Make that moment happy and make it count – and most importantly, own it!

Thoughts are interwoven pitches and tones

Voices are melodic lines strategically honed

Actions are moments of what is to be

Let your journey be filled with happiness and know those little blessings are the prize – in addition to everything you have gained along the way

Elements of surprise

 We can only surmise

 in three-part harmony

Cheers!

Reactions are the emblems of our lives. The way we respond or lack thereof can determine the result of so much, that it is always very wise to think before you act. From wars to politics, friendships, relationships, careers, and so much more. Our reactions can make or break not only long built connections but also throw us completely off course and drastically realign our life’s path.

You need to get a grip. You can start by taking it one step at a time. If things in your life seem overwhelming, take small steps toward making your life more manageable.

Understand and trust yourself. Know who you are and what you are capable of. There will be hurdles and there will be ways to resolve. The path you have chosen has a purpose, whether good or bad. Be happy if you chose the right path. Be determined to resolve if you chose the wrong path.

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? I hope you are all having a fantastic day/evening. The Olympics are in full session now and I have been watching daily the various qualifying and medal sessions. I love the Olympics and I am obviously rooting for team GB to do well and so well they have performed fantastically. Every four years I look forward to the summer Olympics and watching all the countries compete in various events. I find it so captivating to watch someone perform and compete in something they are so passionate about and have trained hard for over the past four years.
