As we embark on a bright new year let’s make it a goal to fill our lives with an abundance of cheer. No, this is not a goody-two-shoes approach. In my humble opinion, this is a taking a major step in muting unwanted fears from our world. Let’s be mindful of who we are and what we can be. This is you and me that I am talking about.  And no, this isn’t selfish, it is wise.

There are those that need our help and yes, we may need their help, as well. If we strive to be strong and empower ourselves with a favorable persona, we can do the same for others. Let’s make it a habit to create a positive circle of life and benefit all of us. Let’s make it contagious!

Life doesn’t come in a one size fits all so it is up to us to define ourselves and how we want to express our individuality. I say let’s take the best life has to offer, meaning caring and sharing. Measuring life by intangibles rather than tangibles is by far more rewarding as we embark on our journey.

We can’t change the color of the sky

Don’t know why

We can’t change the color of sun

Don’t know why

We can’t change the color of the moon

Don’t know why

We can’t change everything we see

Don’t know why

But it’s how we perceive

what we see, and

It’s what we perceive

how we see?

If we believe what we perceive

and perceive what we believe, then

Can we change everything we see?

“Improvise, Adapt and Overcome!” – Clint Eastwood

 Cheers!
