What to Do In Times of Vulnerability (4 min read)

As soon as the southwest monsoon flows over the air there was an occurrence of a vague loneliness I cannot explain. The moisture-laden wind carries with it a painful sensation I do not even want to go back to. The climax of the summer heat is almost over and the season was telling me June is coming.  I wish I have the power to remove it from the calendar of time because it brings with it the memories of the most unbearable agony of losing my son.  And I’m scared.

The day my fart followed me to soccer is a children’s book written about little Timmy going to soccer practice. As always his imaginary companion, Fart, follows him everywhere. Timmy has no clue what soccer is and how to play it so he gets Fart to teach him a few things and practices before the game.

At the game, he realizes that there is a new girl called Sophie also clueless about the game. He tries to make her feel welcome and offers to teach her, his newly learned skills. She accepts and so they have play dates practicing the game.

The Day My Fart Followed Me To Hockey by Sam Lawrence & Ben Jackson

The book consists of colorful illustrations and the content is all about positive learning. Fart, this time around, does not play a stronger role in the story than he did before. Timmy displays the acts of kindness and willingness to help others, which makes this book sweet and suitable for kids.

If I was a Caterpillar by Ben Jackson & Sam Lawrence

I recommend this book to parents that are looking for books that are fun and still have that additional learning aspect to it.

As I was reflecting on the topic of this blog post, I couldn’t help but recall the words of the Wizard of Oz as he addressed the Cowardly Lion: “You, my friend, are a victim of disorganized thinking!” It’s amazing how many insights and nuggets of wisdom, like that, can be mined from this classic and timeless movie.

Healing by Josephine Green

This book is beyond the normal health books you read. It entails subject matters such as meditation, the power of the prayer, fasting and energy healing such as Reiki. I was truly impressed with the content provided in this book.

Every chapter teaches you how to work on healing your body, mind, and soul with various methods that do not require any financial loss. Whether you are struggling at work, in your family or have been enduring significant hardship, this book can help you work on yourself. It is a true self-help book that everyone needs to read at least once in their life.

The literary standard was in good standing, and the layout of the work had an easy flow, making it easy to understand. The book is great for anybody to have.

Mediumship by Tabitha Zalot

This book is about people that have the ability to act as a medium between the life and dead. Having Psychic ability or what is now known as Mediumship has been going on for many years. It discusses spiritualists, mental and physical Mediumship, how it works and much more.

I personally have always struggled to understand how a person could have the power of being able to connect or communicate with other world dimension and although, I remained skeptic about the whole ordeal, I found the book to be fun and enjoyable to read. Whether you wish to believe it or not, the content of this book does provide you with more information on the myths and the supernatural. It gives a more realistic and authentic look on what psychics do and are about.

I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a better understanding of the topic.
