How to Keep Yourself Motivated and Beat Laziness (1 min read)

Love, they say is the strongest force here on earth, I beg to disagree. It’s another L word that is so powerful, and if you fail to beat it you’ll be whatever you are now, forever.

You’re not gonna grow, not improve, not get better – you are just going to deteriorate.

Laziness, that’s what it is.

Sometimes what hinder you to achieve your dreams aren’t really the obstacles, but your utter laziness. There’s nothing really wrong with being lazy, every one of us feels that once in a while. The thing is, it’s bad if you let it corrupt you and not even try to find a way to fight it.

People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” ~Jim Rohn

Here 3 things to remember to keep yourself motivated.

1. Never ever get lazy motivating yourself, and for the love of humanity, don’t ever say ‘No, I’m not going to motivate myself because nothing happens anyway.” Nothing will happen if you do not believe and do something to make things happen.

2. Believing in what you want isn’t enough; it is must that you should believe in yourself as well. Believe that you can and you will. As Nelson Mandela said, ‘It only seems impossible until it’s done.’

3. X to Y by When. Set your goals and keep track of it, remember that you will only reach your goals if you do something to achieve it. Whether it’s huge or small, do something that will help you achieve your dreams.

50 Thoughts That Can Motivate You to Do Anything (5 min read)

1. I can do anything. It’s a simple phrase, but it helps to remind yourself — you really can do anything you set your mind to.

2. This is why I can. Instead of giving yourself reasons why you can’t do something, give yourself reasons why you can.

3. I deserve more. You deserve a better life — whether that means a better job, a healthier body or more money. Work for it.

So, what do I want to talk about? Hmm..
There’s this saying,

“You get back what you give.”

It’s true, but what’s even more true is that you get back more than you give. Sounds good, but it’s not that simple. I wish it was.. Well I don’t. Actually it’s the best how it is. It’s really great and awesome if we give, so that is important, to give.

If there is a single point that you pull from the crazy rants that I spill on this blog it is this one thing.

If you are on stage, in front of a client or in a classroom, be yourself there. There is nothing in this world that will make everyone that you are speaking to disengage faster than a fake persona on the stage. More importantly, then that though is NOTHING will engage an audience faster than someone who is comfortable enough to be themselves. If you are honest and authentic then they will engage.

“Life is like a ten-speed bicycle.  Most of us have gears we never use.”
Charles M. Schulz

Seems in life it is essential, to gear our mind to full potential. Please lend an ear, this you may want to hear.

There is no boasting if we’re only coasting. Results may be adverse if we’re forever in reverse.  Let’s move forward by pedaling toward, a favorable direction. The rut in the road, an act of deflection or an undesirable reflection?

We get out of bed, shake our head and we’re in first gear. What a great start, we’re thinking smart! Again, let’s pedal toward a positive direction; are you with me? Have you switched to second gear? Oh, but you must! There is still time to adjust.

C’mon, there’s no time for crying, you must keep trying. Do you want to be a wannabe throughout your life? No, the answer is not a new life. You can’t just buy a new life like you would buy a new bike!

We must be resourceful and not remorseful; squelch our fear and cultivate cheer. Now, are you with me? I’m so proud of you that you heeded my cue.

Seems in life it is essential, to gear our mind for full potential. Please lend an ear, this you may want to hear.

Get out of first gear!

Cheers!

Never Forget (1 min read)

From the day we are born, the day our mother holds us in her arms for the first time, the day we cry, laugh or sob for the first time, to the day when we have wrinkles on our faces and can hardly move our legs, we are never alone. This life, it gives us a lot but also takes a lot from us, whether it’s in the form of death, failure, hate or love, we all lose something either big or small it hurts but we learn to live and life goes on. But something that no force in the world can ever take away from us is the memories, those that we share with our loved ones, we can never loose or forget the moments in our lives that build up to the person we are today. And the feelings like the cold air on that December night you roamed the city in a rusty old car with the speakers blowing up, or the taste of your favorite ice cream melting in your mouth. You will never forget the places you went the books you read and the people you met. Life can often kick you around and make you its bitch but you’ve gotta hold on, and if not for you do it for the ones that make you smile, the ones who will do anything and everything to be by your side, the people who are waiting for you to stand tall and not give up, don’t let them down, never forget the memories, the feelings, the butterflies in your stomach on your first date and the bone crushing, heart warming hugs your best friend gave you after the holidays. These are the things that will matter the most in the end, so if you give up now, you’ll never know how amazing looking back really is and how much these little things can actually mean. -H
