There is nothing on this planet that I dislike more than the lump of scared in my chest when there is a situation I can do nothing about. I don’t mean that “The bakery ran out of my favorite bagel!” scared. I’m talking about “What does my life even mean?!” kind of scared.

No one wants to have those feelings. Yet so many of us deal with them everyday. Maybe not right in our face, but it’s in the back of our minds on a day to day basis.

Don’t live scared! What is it in your life that you want to do or say or make that would bring your life to its fullest? Do you want to start a business and be your own boss? Is there that family member you’re feuding with but truly miss? Or maybe that little e-book you’ve been wanting to write that will truly help some people.

Whatever it is, why are you waiting? We all have things that will hold us back. That will NEVER EVER change. It seriously won’t! No matter how long you sit and wait it won’t change. There is always going to be a reason not to do it. Unless you make that something happen. Right now it’s the holidays are coming up. Completely understandable and valid reason right?! Wrong!! You can make an action plan. You can set out your steps so that when the holidays are done, you know EXACTLY what that next step is and you can walk right into making that life you want.

Peter Voogd, a motivational speaker,  says “Make the tough decision NOW!” Don’t wait. Don’t let another month pass that you could be working in your happiness And building the life you want!

Make that life you want come true!

  1. Great post, I needed this. I am in the middle of a job hunt and I hate, hate interviews as an introvert. I have to keep remembering to be strong and I’m doing this for a reason!

    1. I’m glad it helped Hannah! One of my favorite things to remember in a job interview is “What’s the worst that can happen?” You get a no. That just means your one step closer to that yes! Keep your chin up! It will happen for you.

  4. Can’t say how much I can relate to this post and it was such a good push since I’ve actually decided to make a plan even for the break and work on everything that’s been put off. Thank you for the hint of motivation 🙂

  5. There is a little riddle I learned a long time ago, that helped me with this. FEAR. FALSE. EVIDENCE. APPEARING. REAL. When our conscience tells us to not do something however, then we must listen, but if it’s irrational fear, then definitely fight through. ?
