I remember I used to write short rhyme poems when I was young, probably 4th standard, but then I didn’t really know writing is something that I love to do, I used to write because I was enjoying it. Nobody was really supporting me as they didn’t know the importance of writing, neither I don’t know what happened later, I just stopped writing. I never wrote for years. After this long gap, finally, from a couple of months writing started embracing me. Now I realized something which I failed to realize when I was in 4th std. Yes, writing is my passion and this is something that I love to do always.

But what made me write again after ages? It’s not because I have no one to share things with. It’s because most of the people listen with the intent to answer back, not really to understand what you are saying. Some even listen to you, give advice and make fun of you later. There are a few who just misunderstand what you are saying and create a whole new situation and solutions. Now that doesn’t mean everyone is bad to me. I have good friends who are really caring and give suggestions, but I’m really not convinced with their solution/advice. I feel nobody understands me, I don’t like it when people misjudge me. May be our opinions and perception don’t match. It just made me realize it’s not worth sharing my feelings with everyone. So now, here I’m with my blog where I can just pen down all my thoughts.

When I’m sad, I write. When I’m happy, I write. When I’m crying, I write. Yes, it makes me feel better.  I never knew writing was an addiction. Now one of my biggest dreams is to become a successful blogger. In fact, I love to have a video blog as well. I’m sure at least one person in this world will be facing the same situation. Here I would like to suggest to them to start writing and NO you are never alone. I’m glad if this post helps at least one person.

Until next time… <3

  1. When I’m sad, I write. When I’m happy, I write. When I’m crying, I write. Yes, it makes me feel better. ….nice, keep writing….and let it be more of when you are happy…! Keep Smiling!

  2. … when I breathe, I want to write. I can’t imagine not writing. We share that addiction. I want to write novels and you want to write blogs. All the best to both of us on our paths to making our dreams come true!

  3. I can relate to this in a lot of ways. I write (online at least) mostly to help myself learn things through the research I do for my posts, but it also helps me to take my mind off work and de-stress. Thanks for your post!

  4. Completely feel this. Writing is such a great form of self-expression. It can give you a voice even in sistuations where you might feel like you don’t have one.
