I once came across a quote that said:

“Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from all negativity.”

Both the battle and freedom are within. We have power over our thoughts to either become free or slaves.

You and I have a choice to choose what we want to think. This power is called faith. Everyone has this power. It is a free undeserved gift from God. The most annoying thing is self pity! No one wants to listen to anyone who complains. We want to be around people who inspire us. Don’t we all… I have faith to believe that I’m NOT a negative person. I also have confidence to believe that I am an optimistic being. See the difference?

You know you are strong when:

  • You have power over evil thoughts.
  • You can push yourself to think positive, encourage, motivate yourself and others.
  • Admit that you need help hence seek it sap.

P.S. – Learn to say NO. How about starting with negativity?

  1. 🙂 One thing… Walking, I am passing on the streets people having dark clouds in eyes and minds. Part of them is giving me my smile back but there is always at about 40 percent trying to push each Spark down.

  2. What you have written here is obviously true but in the spiritual world there is nothing like positive & negative..its all Karma..Do everything consciously , without getting involved..that way you will end up doing good deeds automatically without adding to your karmic account..

  3. I really like this article.
One crtical thing we need to understand is the power of decision making. Most things we do or do not do arise from certain explicit or implicit decisions we make. Thus we need to first decide to say no to negativity ( this article: states that decision making is always more effective in the morning upon waking up. It will help make the whole day better
