We all heard about the saying that life is short. Yes we know and we accept that it is. But there are other things you should know about life, that will help ease your passage through it.
-
IT GOES ON: With or without you in it, life continues. The birds will still fly, the grasses will still grow. The sun will keep rotating around the earth. Placing your life on hold because of others, feeling that without you, their life won’t go on. You are so wrong. They might take a minute or two to remember you but that is it.
-
KARMA IS REAL:
It is a 100% real. Feeling that you can do anything and get away with it is false. Don’t expect that you do evil and evil won’t come back to you. Do good to everybody you meet. You might not get an instant reward but knowing you put a smile on someone’s face is equally satisfying.
-
THE ONLY PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU IS YOU:
Think about it, who is going to care for you like you will. You are the only person responsible for the quality of life you live. Your failures, your success, your shortcomings, your achievement they are your responsibilities and no one else. Acknowledge this.
-
YOU CAN’T FORCE FRIENDSHIPS:
If someone does not want to be your friend, there is nothing you can do about it. Do not waste your time trying to force someone to like you, when there are other people who will without you stressing them.
-
LITTLE THINGS MATTER TOO:
Opening the door for an old lady. Allowing someone with a kid cut line in front of you. Giving up your seat on the bus for a pregnant lady. These little things matter. As insignificant as it may seem, it makes the world a better place to live in.

aka..The Five Truths. The world will be a better place if we can show more compassion for each other.
yes it definitely would be. Thanks for reading
awesome post….
Thanks I appreciate your feedback
Interesting article, I agree.
Thanks I appreciate your feedback
I liked your third point. The responsibility gives control and its through the control that we can steer our life in whatever direction we want! Nice work 🙂
Thanks and I appreciate your contribution
Hey, I really like ur blog! I’d appreciate it if you would check out my blog: https://thelifeofautumngirl.wordpress.com

Mr Midnight and Sir Winston are so happy that you posted your “5 laws” because they were starting to believe the human race was devoid of such wisdom. In a cats world your above mentioned “5 laws” are “instinct” to a cat. Cats are so clever and they know it! Best regards from the “Gilmours Nice Place” blog. Meow from Mr M., purr purr from Sir W and thanks for your motivating article. 🙂
I am very glad to know that I made Mr. Midnight and Sir Winston happy. Thank you
I like your ideas.
Thank you
100% true…especially number 3, you are responsible for yourself, stop waiting for people to make things happen for you
This makes so much sense..
Thanks for reading
I truly appreciate this. Karma matters. I always help others to achieve what they want to. I push them. Some of them listen, some don’t. Doesn’t matter. But the thing is, I need to sacrifice certain things whenever I help. So, will it be worth? If it is, then why don’t people start doing these sort of activities instead of living for themselves? I hope you understand. Peace.
I do understand. The thing is in life some people need a certain push to make them do things in life, you helping them might be that push they need. While on the other hand you need to know the difference between those who genuinely needs the help and those who are just using you cause they know you will help.
Yes, you are right. I always fail to understand that. I need to make sure that I should help only genuine people. People do take advantage of other’s nature. Ha. I got it. Thanks for the concern. Wish you a great new year. Stay fit.
Some very valid points especially number three – as they say: Even your shadow leaves you in darkness. Always best to love yourself and be your own bestfriend. Love MD’s little life reminders haha. xx

Thanks for the feedback
It is funny reading through that how simple yet true it is. Many of these truths are hopefully learned over time but sometimes they are difficult lessons.
These 5 things are right on target ?. Yes, you are responsible for everything that goes on in your life no one else is. You may not be the cause of a situation however your reaction to the situation makes a huge difference. Short post but you touched on some major areas.
Thank you very much dear
You’re welcome
Simple points, that we all know, yet it’s still a wake up call. Perhaps because there things we never remind ourselves of. Things we know yet never ponder over. This post compels us to ponder. Thank you
Simple, beautiful and true insights.
Short, simple, yet very insightful especially today where most of us are so preoccupied with other things and overlook these truths about life. Cheers! 🙂
