When you were young, you probably had a dream job. Whether it was a doctor, a firefighter, or a writer, everyone had aspirations to do something they loved and were passionate about. If you landed your dream job and love it, that is awesome. However, if you ended up getting a job where you wake up and dread going to work, it can really wear you down.

Perhaps, though, you have thought about doing something else with your life where you would be happier. While I wouldn’t recommend going and quitting you day job while you pursue this dream, I would tell you to go after what you want. If at first you don’t succeed, you should keep trying! Pretty much everyone who ended up in a job they really love had to keep working and trying for their dream to become reality. They didn’t succeed on their first, second, or even third try. Just look up some famous people who wouldn’t be where they are today if they didn’t stick to their guns and keep trying. No matter how many times they got knocked down, they got back up and kept going.

Use the internet to help you learn about what you need to do to get going on your dream. You can find different people who are where you want to be and find out how they got there. Tell people you already know about what you want to do, you never know if they know someone who could help you out.

When you are trying to pursue something you really want to do, just keep motivated. Think about how great it will feel once you are where you want to be. Just keep believing in yourself and don’t give up.

  1. “Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes open, concentrate and make sure you know exactly what it is you want. No one can hit their target with their eyes closed.”

  2. Hi,
Do you mind me asking a personal question? How long have you been blogging for Millionaire’s Digest? Have you found that people are actually driven to your site or are you just effectively helping to bump up the stats of someone else’s site?

This is a genuine question. I am considering applying as a contributor because I’m interested in growing my own blog. However, I don’t want to be sucked into writing and promoting MD at the expense of my own blog. I would just like to know whether you’ve noticed a difference. Thank you.

Great post by the way – encouraging and motivational. Although I do not agree that everyone has to work in a job doing what they love to do. It is not always possible for various reasons. I do however believe that if you have a passion you should and can pursue this in your spare time or part-time – whatever works for you.
Hope to hear from you regarding my query. 😃
