Here’s some advice for continuing a successful blog!

Listen to your readers!

The best way to make sure your readers stay interested in your content, listen to them! Read and respond to their comments, and keep them in the loop! It is good to write for yourself, but also try to keep your readers involved to grow your blog.

Use the right tags!

Make sure your tag your posts, and keep them relevant! This will help draw in new readers who are interesting in the content you are posting. Also, use specific tags! This will help your blog appear in specific searches above blogs who aren’t relevant to the search!

 Keep your content the same!

Don’t be constantly changing the theme of your blog! If you want to keep a devoted reader base, keep writing about what they first liked your blog for!

Invest in a nice theme

The appearance of your blog is a major aspect to its success. Many blog hosting platforms offer free themes but in a world where having the sleekest, most modern looking theme is in,  it is best to either buy a pre-made theme or learn how to code your own! Pre-made themes range from $20-$200, and there are many internet sources to help with coding.

Guest Blog!

An amazing way to get new readers is to guest blog! Write a post or series on another blog to promote your own blog! If you search guest blogging on social media or google, you are bound to find someone looking for someone to write on their blog! It’s a fun way to connect with other bloggers as well!

I hope you enjoyed! Please leave your advice in the comments to help out other bloggers!

  1. Can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have a nice theme! Still not satisfied with the theme I have right now, but I definitely like the way it looks more than my old one. If anyone has a theme they really like that’s responsive, let me know! 🙂 Thanks for sharing! Great advice.
