Almighty god does not decide our fate. We decide our own fate by our actions. We achieve  by our efforts alone. It is not a matter of sitting back and accepting, you have to gain mastery over yourself.

Floods, earthquakes, typhoons and all kind of disasters may hit the world. But what keeps the human race going? It is a powerful force within us, an eternal spring of energy called motivation. It was Lord Buddha’s motivation that drove him to give up his princely life in search of nirvana and give the world a new religion.

At an individual level, it is positive motivation that elevates us from the ordinary to the extraordinary. If there is only a 1% chance of success in an examination, a true scholar sees that 1% as the spark to light a fire. The spark for creative ideas comes from hard work and positive thinking. ” when others start counting the impossibilities, you start counting the possibilities.”
Count differently : confirm the possibilities, and then quickly work on whatever can turn those possibilies into reality.

What inspires YOU to work harder ? What is your internal motivation ?
Share your motivation in the comment box !  🙂

  1. Wonderful word of inspiration. My own need to succeed is what continues to drive me. I have pushed myself to limits beyond what I was capable of while housing doubts and insecure concerns. But now at this point in my life, I don’t think anything is off limits and I’m going for everything I’ve ever been told I couldn’t have! check out my post that briefly explains what I’m going for in life !

  2. What keeps me going is the fire of my dreams, anticipation of what will happen when I will achieve them, and my love for the journey towards these dreams.

Agree with every bit of your writing. 🙂

  3. “Count differently” awesome. Something I’ve been doing lately that serves as a great source of inspiration is thinking about the future. Not just a few years in the future, but fifty or sixty years. Whenever I doubt myself or feel fear trying to force its way into my mind, I ask myself “What would the future me, the old me that’s on a bed in a nursing home, wish I had done? What would he want me to do right now?” It makes me realize how precious every second we have is, and how it’s absolutely crucial that we truly make the most of every second, for we can never get them back, only wish we had more. Therefore, my goal’s to have the ability to be able to look back years in the future, think about younger years, and smile because I knew I spent my time well, not frown in regret. So THAT’s what’s inspiring for me haha!

  4. Nice and concise post there, I enjoyed the read. First off I’d say that your post motivates me but more seriously my motivations come from tackling great feats; it’s the challenge that really ignites my passion into something.
