  1. I have loved Shelley Silverstein since a substitute teacher who happened to be a librarian read it to us. We must have been in third grade and it hit our sense of humor perfectly.

  2. Anything Ronald Dahl or Judy Blume! Can’t forget her ? my fave as a kid ….Patterson also has a great kid middle school series and Diary of A wimpy kid for boys!!
