You won’t last a second in an interview if you’re oblivious to the specific job responsibilities. A lot of the questions during your interview are going to be about the position. By knowing the basic information, you can relate your personal experience with the position’s responsibilities. You don’t want the interviewer to have to connect the dots of how you’re a good fit for the job.
Take a look at the job ad before you apply for the job. When you’re writing your cover letter and resume, make sure you address certain key points that the job posting. By doing so, you’ll prove that you have the right skills to handle the job.
According to Wikipedia, goal orientation is “disposition toward developing or demonstrating ability in achievement situations”.
Being goal oriented is very useful and can be the difference between getting a job and not receiving a promotion or a raise for many years. Being able to both meet and set goals can be good for you personally as well. It’ll also help to develop yourself and others in the industry.
Constantly setting new goals will prevent you from getting too used to a set way of doing things and never improving. It can also help you get a promotion or make you eligible for a better position when one opens up. Being a goal-setter (as well as someone who achieves these goals) can be your biggest defining characteristic as an employee and a person. It will almost certainly help you be successful at work.
You can almost never go wrong with confidence. Confidence helps you achieve what you set out to do as well as move forward knowing that you’re capable of being successful. Confidence is extremely important for interviews. Appearing confident will help an interviewer make the decision to hire you versus someone else. When you appear confident, you’re much less likely to be second-guessed, which can be very important in some lines of work.
One very important thing to remember is that being arrogant is not the same thing as being confident. You should avoid being cocky at all costs. While confidence can help make people like you and move you further ahead at work, arrogance will only get you set you back.
When you stop trying to learn, you close a huge door to success for yourself. Learning can help you become better in your field, master the ins-and-outs of your job, and become more efficient.
Also, make sure you constantly study your industry. Certain jobs—especially with the rise of technology—can change by the day. Stay on top of your industry, recent news, and developments within your specific field.
Be an addictive reader at all cost and in all time in your life because it’ll help you gradually progressing in both vocabularies, exposure to educative information and expand you thinking perspective towards your dream.
Don’t focus your education on your job only, also go lean other’s jobs, so that you’ll have a better understanding and relation between your role and others role or duties.

However, building a strong relationship doesn’t just mean friendship—it means building a bond of trust and respect. This can be a very difficult task for some people. It can take some figuring out to do right, but almost always pays off. Likability and trust can sometimes be the most important factors in how successful you are at work.
